Dear Sir,
Availing myself of your permission already given to exchange your Goods for
Produce- I herewith beg to wait upon you with Invoice & B/Ldg for ( and
Duty Chap) NHM 229 kgs Teas – shipped per “Yantze” which I have taken in
exchange for a small lot of your Mdse & which I trust will meet with
your approval.
Please send me a certificate signed by the Customs at your port stating this
tea to have been landed at Yokohama & I can recover the duty paid here –
if such certificate is sent me within 6 months from date.
The Goods bartered are

14 do Single weft Taffch @ do 3.00
A/Sales of which will be undered together with sale of other Mds of yours.
Please signify to me if what I have done meets with your approval – as this
