Agt. Netherl. Trading Society
Yokohama
Dear Sir,
Your letter of the 25th ult. Entrusting me with the winding up of the
affairs of the Netherl Trading Society here was received on the 30th idem
and your instructions as to sales and remittances are duly noted.
By advice from time to time I shall endeavor to keep you fully informed of
the state of this market.
At the moment business in all kinds of imports is extremely dull and I
cannot recommend any shipments to this port.
Your Palembang Cotton of which 64 Piculs are unsold I am pressing upon the
market @ R/S 27. The limit given me by Mr. Mees.
With the assurance that I will do all in my power for your interests.
I am, Dear Sir,
Yours truly,
Brown,
