here on account of ill health, I beg leave to inform you, that should you
and Mr. Thos. Walsh of Messrs Walsh Hall & Co of your port see fit, I
am willing to undertake the care of your affairs here, and to look after
your Palembang Cotton and the Rice & Surume bo’t for the Am. Bk.
“Pekin” and shipped per junk to a northern port of Sado.
Mr. Mees will give me every particular, so that in so far as this is
concerned. I shall be able to do what he would were he to be here in
person.
